In his State of the Union address on February 2, 2022, President Biden emphasized that because of the progress made as a country against COVID-19 and the widely available tools to protect ourselves, we are in a position to move forward safely and get back to our more normal routines.
Building on the President’s remarks, together at the White House on February 2 at 10:30AM ET, White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Jeff Zients, Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director, and Chief Medical Advisor to the President, Dr. Anthony Fauci will announce the National COVID-19 Preparedness Plan – a roadmap that will enable America to move forward safely, and sustain and build on the progress we’ve made over the past 13 months.
